2. Data protection framework
UBT processes personal data under applicable rules, including Cameroon Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 relating to personal data protection.

- Contact details: country, phone number, email address and optional WhatsApp number.
- Travel details: destination, dates, number of travellers, indicative budget and project details.
- Details related to the requested service such as visas, ticketing, insurance, study abroad or car rental.
- Technical data strictly necessary for website operation and security.

- Reply to contact messages and quotation requests.
- Prepare, manage and follow up a requested travel service or booking.
- Share information required by partners involved in delivering the requested service.

5. Recipients and partners
Data may be accessed by authorised UBT personnel and, where necessary, by partners such as airlines, insurers, visa providers, accommodation providers, carriers, education providers, technical suppliers or payment operators.
UBT does not sell personal data. Information shared with a partner is limited to what is necessary to process the request or provide the relevant service.
6. International transfers
Travel services may require partners located outside Cameroon. Where an international transfer is necessary, UBT limits the data shared and uses the mechanisms required under the applicable framework.
7. Retention
Data is retained only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Contact and quotation requests that do not lead to a service are generally retained for no more than 24 months after the last exchange, unless a legal requirement, dispute or specific necessity requires otherwise.
Booking, payment, invoice and regulatory records may be kept for the period required by applicable law. Cookie preferences are stored for six months before a new choice is requested.

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request:
- access to your personal data;
- rectification or updating;
- erasure where applicable;
